The winner of WorkSafe Saskatchewan’s first youth Eye on Safety contest was announced at the kick-off to the provincial NAOSH week activities.

Dylan Rathbeger, of Regina, won the grand prize of an Acer Aspire Laptop computer. The three month contest ran from February 4 to April 30. Monthly draw winners of Apple iPods were Heather Graham, Nicole Johnson and Alissa Thompson.

The contest, open to Saskatchewan youth age 15 – 24, was designed to promote workplace safety to provincial youth. People in this age group are 33% more likely to be injured on the job than other workers.[Read More]
